Integrity: It is the quality of honesty and trustworthiness. Characteristics are loyalty, dependability, and not deceptive.
The Presidential race has been narrowed down to three candidates; Joe Biden, Donald Trump and Nikki Haley. What criteria should one use in deciding who to support? One important criterion that is often overlooked is leadership. Using Wikipedia's definition of leadership, let’s see how the three candidates stack up. I'll score each candidate on a scale of one to ten to see who be the best leader.
Cognitive
1.) Joe Biden is in decline; he reads off a teleprompter most of the time and when he ad libs his White House staff goes into damage control telling us what he meant to say. To me this is very concerning seeing how as President he has to meet and speak with other world leaders, I mean we all have an uncle like this, right? Score: 3
2.) Donald Trump is starting to show signs of decline, confusing Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi. He also uses a teleprompter more and more. He also often changes his rhetoric; 1st stating he will retaliate against those that oppose him, then stating he will not retaliate against those that oppose him and back again to retaliating on anyone that supports his adversary. It is important that a candidate be able to articulate a position and stick with it, or not, I'm not sure. Score: 6
3.) Nikki Haley speaks without a teleprompter or cue cards. Her message is consistent. When heckled by a Trump plant in the audience, she keeps her cool, and also refrains from pig wrestling during debates (Yes, I'm talking about you Ramaswamasucmmy). Score:10
Self-Confidence
1.) Joe Biden is very self-confident although he occasionally shows some weakness. For example, when asked if he had an opinion about the Republican's struggle to name a new Speaker of The House he responded “that's above my pay grade.” Ahh, Joe you did read the job description, didn't you? Score: 9
2.) Donald Trump may be one of the most self-confident people ever. In fact, he thinks he's great, I mean really, really, really great. His confidence is such that he doesn't think rules or laws apply to him which leaves him wide open to opposing forces that want to go after him. Score: 7
3.) Nikki Haley is also self-confident. One example is when she was UN Ambassador, she was authorized to make a statement which the Trump administration later waffled on. When asked about Haley's statement, the Trump administration said she was confused. When Haley was confronted with this she replied “I don't get confused.” Score: 10
Determination
1.) Joe Biden is certainly determined. When the SCOTUS said his student loan forgiveness is unconstitutional, he again forgave student loans. He also was determined to allow the Chinese spy balloon to fly and spy its way across the US because he was afraid of what would happen if he shot it down. Ahh, Joe, you do know how balloons work, don't you? Score:10
2.) Donald Trump is also determined. His “Stop the Steal” campaign is 0-90 in the courts but he fights on in the hope of getting a different result. How's that working? Score:10
3.) Nikki Haley is fighting an uphill battle as the underdog but is undeterred. The liberal media is still backing Biden so they talk about Trump, the only one Biden can possibly beat. The conservative media talks about Trump. I've been following this campaign from the beginning and only in the last few weeks is Haley getting any press. But don't you worry, the cream always rises to the top. Score: 10
Integrity
1.) Job Biden integrity is questionable. I haven't heard a single denial regarding the Biden family's 20 odd shell companies and Joe's story about his non-involvement in Hunter's businesses is ever changing. How many shell companies does your family have? Score: 3
2.) Donald Trump, integrity? He even has his sons lying for him in a court of law. They would have us believe that the accountants put it on paper and they sign it without any idea of what the numbers mean. C'mon man! Score: 0
3.) Nikki Haley is the only candidate that hasn't stooped to creating lies about her opponents. No need, you can't make this sh** up. Score: 10
TOTAL SCORES
Joe Biden: 25
Biden's cognitive decline is obvious to all and remember, he wasn't starting at the top of the flag pole to begin with, he once claimed to have visited all 54 states.
Donald Trump: 23
Trump is an egomaniac with a rabid following, I wonder how many of them took his advise and drank bleach so they wouldn't catch COVID? In Trump's defense, I would have come up with a cock and bull story if I had lost to Joe Biden.
Nikki Haley: 40
Haley earns a perfect score, a born leader, the right person in the right place at the right time. 59% of Americans don't want a Biden-Trump rematch. If you are one of them, take the time to learn about Nikki and what she stands for, if you do, you will see her as the only choice. Or you can learn to speak Mandarin, it's totally up to you.
